Serving families

MiFamily Together offers prevention, preservation, and reunification services for any intensity of need under one program.

Families participating in MiFamily Together work with one team as their needs change instead of multiple programs and service providers.

With broader eligibility, Mi Family Together referrals are streamlined from domestic violence shelters, PARC, Prevention, Pathways, CPS, and foster care workers.

What to expect

Our dedicated professionals bring years of experience and expertise to every client we serve.

We prioritize your unique needs, preferences, and goals to create a personalized plan that works for you.

Our services consider the mind, body, and spirit to promote overall wellness.

We’re deeply connected to the community we serve, providing a network of support throughout the journey.

MiFamily Together is available to each family 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Services are provided in the family’s home or community. Face-to-face hours increase or decrease depending on need, and families maintain the same worker and private agency without being referred to services as their needs change.

MiFamily direct workers provide many solution-focused services and interventions to meet each family's unique needs. These services may include strengthening appropriate parenting, household management, communication and conflict resolution skills, a warm handoff to follow-up services when needed, and an increase in each family’s community support network.

Protective Factors Framework and Protective Factors Survey are used to develop relevant and effective goals through collaborative goal setting.

Implementing the 2Gen service philosophy helps ensure a strong family voice and more equitable, holistic services centered around individual strengths and the needs of parents and children.
