Robert and Della's story
Robert and Della knew they wanted to adopt an older child.
By the age of 13, Lexi had already experienced removal from her family, separation from her siblings, multiple foster placements (involving multiple disruptions to her education), and placement in a group home. Too much trauma for a young teen to process. Meanwhile, Della and Robert were praying and preparing, taking steps with Bethany to adopt an older child. Adoption changed the lives of all three, giving Lexi the love and support of a family and Della and Robert an answer to their prayer.
