You can protect a child today
Give the family-like support everyone needs.
I want to tell women in situations like mine—mothers who think they have no one to turn to—there is help. Your children shouldn’t have to face your recovery with you, and foster care is not the only alternative.
- Lucy, parent
Safe Families means a good night’s sleep for Mom, time for job searches and interviews, applying for apartments, and doctor appointments. And while Mom’s doing that, we can hold her child for her and pour love into them. All parents have to do is say, “Hey, I need help.” And it’s right here.
- Zach, Safe Families Host
You can wrap support around families facing crisis
Give the gift of health
When parents aren’t healthy mentally or physically, it’s hard for them to be there for their children. Your support will provide the resources parents need to attend counseling, therapy, and doctor’s appointments and pay for prescriptions.
Give the gift of mentorship
Sometimes all a parent facing crisis needs is someone to talk to. Your support can provide advice or mentorship to a parent who’s navigating things like financial stress or a child experiencing difficulty in school. You can help parents develop parenting and coping skills by ensuring that when they have a question or need advice, someone is there to listen and help.
Give the gift of security
Your support will provide a family what they need, when they need it: whether it’s a hot meal, a bag of groceries, a ride to a job interview, clothing, or care for a child during the day, overnight, or a few weeks. You can be there to make sure families are taken care of.
Your gift matters
Be there for kids and families when they need you most.
Love like Jesus
"We were not called to serve the served or to bless the blessed." Watch now to see why Zach and Ann support Safe Families for Children and how you can love like Jesus right in your own community.
When parents are vulnerable, so are kids
You can help.
When parents are experiencing difficulties caring for themselves or their children, you can help by providing support for their family as they take essential steps toward stability.
You can strengthen and keep families together
When a family is facing crisis, kids can become vulnerable to neglect and abuse. No family should experience this.
Many parents rely on relatives and friends for support. But for some, this is not enough—or even an option.
That’s where Safe Families, and people like you, come in. You can be part of a supportive community for parents as they strive to overcome poverty, homelessness, health issues, job loss, or other obstacles.
Be the family everyone needs
Generosity builds a network of support for a parent who’s struggling alone. Together, we can wrap a community of churches, families, and resources around families when they need it most.
Your gift will generously support Bethany’s many services and programs to protect kids, empower youth, and strengthen families. Thank you.
